.NET Developer
Canberra

Our client is currently recruiting for experienced Microsoft .NET developers to work on a contract basis within the Australian Public Service.

Successful applicants will have performed a senior developer role, with at least 5 years experience working with ASP.NET and will have been involved in the full development life cycle from design, development and testing through to implementation of external facing web sites using Microsoft development tools.

Applicants must have demonstrated skills in the use of:

  • Visual Studio (including C#, ASP.NET)
  • SQL Server (2005/2008 including stored procedures)
  • Microsoft Server 2003/2008
  • Internet Information Server
  • Team Foundation Server
  • HTML, DHTML, XML, XSL, JavaScript, AJAX Framework, CSS, Web Services and SmartClient
  • Knowledge/experience of design patterns (MVC, MVP)

You will possess excellent communication skills and be able to produce detailed documentation as part of a team or when working individually. You will be required to undergo an Australian Federal Police records check upon contract commencement.
