VB.NET Developer - Mid Level

A great opportunity has been created for a VB.NET Developer to join a medium size logistics business based in Sydney's CBD.

In this exciting role your responsibilities will include:
- Develop/Enhance Systems: Analyse, solve and implement user requirements for new or enhanced computer application systems in conjunction with the users.
- Maintenance: Maintain existing system and ensure that the system functions according to user requirements.
- Testing: Conduct unit, functional, compatibility, and usability testing of the application system.

To be successful in your application for this position you will have:
A relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science or a similar discipline and/or equivalent relevant working experience in web development using VB.NET Experience in Microsoft .NET (1.1-3.5) development in Visual Studio 2005/2008 Experience with ASP.NET MVC Framework Knowledge in ASP, Visual Basic, VBScript, Javascript, DHTML, HTML, XML, AJAX Experience working with MYSQL 2005/2008

Desirable attribute for this role include:
Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Object-Orientated analysis and implementation methodology Ability to update and maintain major web based systems.
