Initial 4 month contract on offer for an experienced Web Development Team Manager with this large government client. In this role you will lead and manage a team who are responsible for the design, architecture, development, support and maintenance of the organisation's Intranet and Internet websites and portals.
You will have the following skills and experience:
- Previous web management experience with a strong ability to relate to both technical and non technical resources.
- Strong understanding of web development methodologies, web infrastructure, enterprise content management systems and technology standards.
- Strong knowledge of DNS systems.
- Basic understanding of Web & Application Hosting (Web Hosting experience in a Unix environment is preferred).
- Understanding of Unix environments.
- Understanding of Windows Server Environments.
- Good understanding of Content Management Systems.
- Experience in working in a large and complex technical environment(government experience would be beneficial).
- Good understanding of web standards.
