This is an exceptional opportunity for a Graduate to join one of leading Global Financial Services Organisations. They are looking for a highly ambitious and driven individual that has a genuine interest in the financial domain.

The Fixed Income regional team is accountable for the Trading Desk; the team is responsible for developing cutting edge tailored and functional Front Office Trading applications within the demanding trading floor environment. The business focus is within the Debt Market and Fixed Income arena including Bonds, Money Markets and Derivatives product.

Highly advanced mathematical and logical problem solving abilities will be essential, as well as excellent programming experience in Excel VBA. You will need to be self-motivated and be a problem solver to succeed, providing a suitable individual the Gateway to the Financial Sector.

Key Duties:

• Problem Analysis
• Resolve Production issues
• Testing including end user functionality
• Application Development and some Application Support

Technical Skills Required:

• Excellent Excel VBA skills
• Fundamentals of either: C++, C, C#/.NET
• Fundamentals of Databases: Sybase and Oracle
• Fundamentals of Unix and Wintel Platforms
• Good knowledge of Web Development
• Good Knowledge of Application Design Principles including OO Design

Non Technical Skills Required:

• Degree qualified (BSc minimum/MSc/PhD)
• Quantitative related discipline: (eg Quantitative Finance, Maths, Engineering, Computer Science)
• Exceedingly high natural mathematical passion and ability
• Enduring enthusiasm for the financial sector in particular the Investment banking business
• Highly ambitious, pro-active, self-sufficient and driven
• Conscientious and logical approach to problem solving
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
