With well over twenty years experience in the retailing industry, this well established business is looking to add to their experienced support team based in the CBD. They have a requirement for an experienced Desktop Support Officer to provide support to over 50 sites with around 2000 users nationwide.

This a permanent opportunity with excellent benefits and career potential.  

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Troubleshooting a variety of technical issues
  • PC, Laptop and printer support
  • Local Area Network Support - port patching and troubleshooting 
  • Remote Support using PC anywhere 
  • Desktop & Notebook SOE (Standard Operating Environment) development & maintenance
  • Blackberry Server and iPhone support

You will be required to have to following skills and experience:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a great phone manner
  • Excellent desktop & some server support skills
  • Level 1/2Help Desk experience
  • An understanding of great customer service and teamwork
  • Previous experience in LAN/WAN troubleshooting
  • Windows XP/Vista experience
  • Windows Server 2003 troubleshooting and configuration
  • Active Directory troubleshooting and configuration
  • Exchange 2007 troubleshooting and configuration
  • Experience in developing images using image software
  • Experience supporting POS terminals
