They have a requirement for an experienced Desktop Support Officer to provide support to over 50 sites with around 2000 users nationwide. This a permanent opportunity with excellent benefits and career potential. Your responsibilities will include: - Troubleshooting a variety of technical issues
- PC, Laptop and printer support
- Local Area Network Support - port patching and troubleshooting
- Remote Support using PC anywhere
- Desktop & Notebook SOE (Standard Operating Environment) development & maintenance
- Blackberry Server and iPhone support
You will be required to have to following skills and experience: - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a great phone manner
- Excellent desktop & some server support skills
- Level 1/2Help Desk experience
- An understanding of great customer service and teamwork
- Previous experience in LAN/WAN troubleshooting
- Windows XP/Vista experience
- Windows Server 2003 troubleshooting and configuration
- Active Directory troubleshooting and configuration
- Exchange 2007 troubleshooting and configuration
- Experience in developing images using image software
- Experience supporting POS terminals
