Our blue chip client is one of the main players within the media space and is located conveniently within the Sydney CBD. They are currently seeking a Java Developer to work with Project Managers, Front End Developers and Operational teams to deliver project work and assist in the maintenance of Java platforms. You will also be involved in writing applications to support the ongoing development and management of the Content Management Systems.

To be successful in this role you will have:
3+ years solid development experience with Object Oriented Design and Development
Strong hands on Java EE experience
Experience with Spring and Hibernate
Database design experience in particular Oracle PL/SQL
Knowledge of Java Application Servers eg JBoss, Tomcat etc
Experience with standard software development tools including Ant/Maven, Subversion, Jira, Eclipse
Experience across various software development life cycle methodologies such as Agile with SCRUM as well as detailed knowledge of web application architecture and infrastructure
HTML, JavaScript experience
Relevant tertiary qualifications
