.NET Developer reporting directly to Development Manager, Sydney
 
This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the world’s leading technology vendors based in Sydney, working within their passionate and innovative .NET Development team. Our Client works with businesses and service providers across all industries both in the Private and Public Sector Worldwide.

Reporting to the Application Development Manager, this position will be responsible for Design, Development and integration of custom made .NET solutions. With a strong focus on .NET Web applications, in this role you will work closely with Microsoft .NET Offshore teams to ensure the delivery of .NET programs for the Australian business.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Participate in the assessment of the customer environment and their requirements and documents results properly
- Develop technical specifications based on functional requirements
- Perform tests according to a given test plan and documents results
- Perform basic support and debugging in test and production environment
- Identify and escalate problems
- Maintain and repair existing applications
- Develop components of the technical solution proposal
- The successful candidate will require the following

Skills:

You will have excellent communication skills and will have hands-on experience working on component based applications in a distributed environment. Qualified candidates should possess:

- 5+ years total industry experience with 1 year+ in a technology consulting environment
- Full lifecycle experience developing large scale, scalable applications
- + 3 years demonstrated strong knowledge and proficiency in the following:
- NET Framework 3.0 and above
- QA & Testing Frameworks
- ASP.NET
- C#, Visual Basic .NET
- Microsoft SQL 2008 / 2010
- Visual Studio.NET 2008 or above
