My client is a Financial Services giant with offices in Perth. They are currently seeking a Lead Business Analyst to join their team to work on their high profile Equities program. Working within a dynamic, fast-paced environment, the main focus of the role will be leading a small team in establishing, leading and delivering the analysis stream for multiple projects. The responsibilities for the roles will include: - Lead and facilitate the analysis of complex business need/opportunity or problem
- Justify the need for change, including development of business value proposition
- Ensure the team is efficient and productive through coaching, managing work environments and removing impediments
- Recommend business solutions that enable the organisation to achieve the required outcomes
- Collaborate with business partners, technology groups, suppliers and customer groups
- Ensure that the recommended solution is delivered against the value proposition (eg. use of subjective and objective data that is factual and performance based)
To be considered for the role you will need: - 5 - 10 years experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the Financial Services sector
- Strong leadership skills, with solid experience leading a small team of Business Analysts
- Equities knowledge/experience
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work with business partners, technology groups, suppliers and customer groups
- Knowledge and experience working within an agile environment (preferably Scrum)
- Ability to influence and build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation
- Strong customer focus
- Strategic thinker, with an execution focus
