• Senior Business Analyst - Treasury
• Initial 6 month contract with view to extend go perm
• CBD location $650 per day

Working within the treasury area of this leading Fund Manager, the Senior Business Analyst will assist in delivering a key systems implementation project with impacts across the business.

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager and liaising between business, technology (application development) and managerial stakeholders, the Senior Business Analyst will act as the key business representative for the project.

Acting as a liaison between the business and the technical team you will be responsible for gathering requirements, designing solutions, designing test strategies to ensure business objectives are met. You will be an autonomous project specialist with the ability to do detailed work at the coal face.

To qualify for this role you will need the following experience:

• Minimum of 4 years core Business Analysis experience within a finance environment
• A structured approach to business analysis and hands on testing
• Excellent documentation skills are absolutely essential with the ability to mentor business users in document writing
• Ability to write SQL queries
• Mathematical skills highly regarded
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to talk to the business on all levels
• Any financial product knowledge- fixed interest products in particular is highly regarded but not essential

This is an initial 6 month contract with the opportunity to go permanent thereafter.
