This role is with a global organisation that has a large IT team based in Brisbane with a number of Software Engineer teams. This role is based within the Production support team and you will be focused on providing support and maintenance to existing applications.

You will be working across the entire SDLC and will involve liaising with the client base to assess requirements and create fixes to code where issues arise. On top of this you will be continually across all applications that this world class organisation runs to ensure maintenance standards are adhered to.

To be considered for this role you will need at least 3 years software development experience in a Java environment preferably in a maintenance and support role. Some of the technical skills you will have picked up along the way will cover things such as Servlets (Tomcat), Apache, JDBC, Spring, Hibernate. On top of this you will also have had experience in a Linux/Unix environment.
