Senior Project Manager Our client is a leading funds manager based in Wollongong CBD. Due to a growth across the organisation and introduction of new and challenging projects, they are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager who will be responsible for the management of system upgrade projects within the various divisions of the business. Key Accountabilities:- - Advanced ability to manage upwards to gain the confidence of the executives
- A sound understanding of the financial industry and regulations
- Excellent Stakeholder Management and Communication skills
- Strong understanding of Business Impact and Business Processes
- Ability to take ownership and undertake challenging tasks
Essential Requirements:- - 8+ years experience in organisation Project Manager
- Strong experience in people management.
- Experience in all phases of Project Management including Financial Reporting and Closing.
- Proven knowledge of IT Project roles and ability to work closely with Senior Management and Executives to come up with solutions
- Extensive knowledge of and experience in applying formal project change and risk management methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, research and problem-solving skills with an ability to collaboratively develop workable, well-argued solutions.
- Proven ability to interact with all levels of an organisation - strong consultation and negotiation skills.
- Open, friendly, collaborative and professional approach to work.
