This major Tier One corporate has successfully won a large complex program of work for a well known Utility brand in Australia. As such they now require a Test Architect/Database Developer to provide Technical Test Leadership on this exciting project.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working with the Test Manager to provide Test Strategy and assist in the test management over the full life cycle of the project.
This challenging role will require the successful candidate to be responsible for a number of tasks including but not limited to:
- Development of Test Strategy
- Participate in the evaluation of Test Tools
- Assist test manager with Test Planning, test management and test execution management.
- Provide Leadership and guidance to team members.
To be eligible for this role you must have strong experience of working on medium to large scale application development projects, with at least 10 years of experience working with multiple platforms and environments across all phases of the SDLC.
Additionally, you will preferably have experience with the following:
- XPDL, BPEL, UML, Servlets, SOAP, WSDL, JSPs, JDBC, SQL, Java, XML, HTML
- Web services in an Enterprise Service Bus environment (eg WebSphere, TIBCO, BEA) ie SOA.
- Proven database development and SQL expertise.
- At least 3 years in a senior technical role for a complex project including technical team leadership, defect identification and resolution, production of designs and other technical documents, review and feedback designs and other documentary work products.
- Demonstrated experience in Functional Testing domain and methodologies.
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Experience in client facing roles with exceptional communication and presentation skills
- An understanding for test architecture framework.
