Technical Support Engineer- Library Sciences
Sydney

Our Client is a market leading organization and a global provider of business information and health services. They are currently seeking an experienced Technical Support Engineer to be a part of a team that supports a number of key business applications.

To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will have experience in:
Knowledge or experience of Library Sciences, Medical technology/information industry A degree level in library science At least 2 years experience within a technical support role 2-4 years experience diagnosing and resolving technical problems

Experience in:
.CGI, z39.50, tomcat and other Web/content Servers, HTTP, HTML, XML, JavaScript, Open URL and Web Services General knowledge of Internet and network technologies and protocols.

Knowledge of the following is ideal:
FTP, Telnet, basic Unix commands, authentication methods and Firewall
