About the organisation/Client
My client is a market leading organisation within their sector; currently dealing with cutting edge technologies and recently won a major project therefore they are looking for a Senior C++ Developer with VoIp experience for a 9 months contract starting ASAP.
About the role
- Applying effective analysis, design, programming and testing skills to produce software products.
- Conducting analysis of project and software requirements
- Developing software designs, coding and testing
- Building test tools and performing unit tests of own and others code as required to ensure quality of components
- Leading the documenting of technical feasibility and high level design documents
- Provide time estimates for completion of analysis, design, development, unit testing
- Support my client products by isolating and fixing defects as required.
- Proactively suggest practical improvements or enhancements beyond the scope of the work being done.
- Lead and participate in technical brainstorming and design sessions.
Skills/requirements
- 5 years in a software development environment C++.
- Experience with Alcate VoIP or Cisco VoIP or Avaya VoIP
- Development experience in a Windows and Unix environment
- Analysis and design in an Object Orientated environment
- Strong focus on quality and testing
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology or Electronic Engineering |
