This position is responsible for responding to and resolving complex customer problems via phone and email for this company's products. The support focuses on in-depth problem analysis on these products and their integration into enterprise-wide mixed environments. These corporate networks often include Windows, Unix and/or Novell integration as well as custom applications and Back Office server management systems.

To secure this role, you will need previous experience in problem solving in a customer support role, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Implementation/configuration and theoretical experience with all of the following technologies are required for this position:
Basic understanding of WAN and LAN switching and routing. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Web services (IIS) Basic knowledge of Databases eg SQL.

Good knowledge of the following protocols:
(TCP/IP, SSL) Intermediate understanding of DNS Working knowledge of SSL VPN Working knowledge of Firewalls and Proxies Security (SSL/TLS, PKI, Certificates) Practical knowledge using network sniffers and protocol analyzers (eg Ethereal, Sniffer, TCPDump) to assist with troubleshooting networking issues. A good understanding of Server Operating Systems (FreeBSD, Windows and Linux). A sound understanding of common enterprise authentication mechanisms (RADIUS, RSA, LDAP, TACACS+. Client Certificates). This position requires a BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience. You must also have 1-2 years experience in a technical customer support environment.
