Sustained growth within the science and technology division has brought about the need for an astute Account Manager to focus on the online information area - Are you ready to take the next step? The Role You will be accountable for achieving revenue targets via developing a relationship network with key stakeholders in the government sector who make and or influence policy decisions. You will essentially be selling a broad range of online data sets, journals, e books and research literature which support or justify such decisions - so the need for a consultative, conceptual selling approach is essential. The Person Effective performance in this role requires an experienced sales person with a track record of selling electronic (on line) information based products. You understand the value of accurate, relevant information and the way it impacts on decision making, as well as the IT aspects and technical features relating to the way such information is presented or communicated. You probably come from an IT, Financial Services or even a Market Research background where you can demonstrate a strong analytical focus as well as the capacity to readily absorb and understand technical and or complex information.
